John Bailey has been a licensed financial advisor since 1997 and has earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (2003). A native of Temple and a graduate of Texas A&M University, John specializes in investing and planning for retirement.
Prior to becoming a Financial Planner, John worked in Human Resources at Scott & White Hospital for five years and for the Texas Employment Commission.
John has served on the City of Temple’s Reinvestment Zone No. 1 Board, the Temple Chamber of Commerce Board, and as President of the Temple Founder Lion’s Club. He has also previously served on the boards of the Central Texas Children’s Center, Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Temple Economic Development Corporation, Temple Parks and Leisure Advisory Board, and served as President of Temple Lions Club Parks and Charities, Inc.. He currently serves as trustee on the Temple College Board.
He and his wife Angie have two daughters, Annie and Katie, and a son, Tucker. John and his family are members of St. Luke’s Catholic Church.
Kevin W. Meyer, Financial Advisor
Kevin is a prior Flight Medic and Platoon Sergeant in the U.S. Army which brought him and his family down to the central Texas area. He deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and left service in December, 2009. In 2010 he began his career as a financial advisor servicing a diverse client group while based in the greater central Texas area. In 2018, Kevin moved his practice to JBF to better serve his clients with independent objective advice. His primary focus is getting to know each individual client situation, then developing and executing upon their customized plan.
Kevin has a B.A. in Economics from Penn State University. He resides in Belton with his wife Michelle & two daughters, Shaila & Priscilla. Kevin is very active in his Church community and volunteers to coach local youth basketball & soccer. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, is an avid reader and a recent triathlete.
Allison McCaslin, Client Services Associate
Allison McCaslin joined John Bailey Financial as a Client Services Associate in January 2016, and works closely with John and Kevin as they assist clients with financial planning and portfolio management. Allison is responsible for account administration, office management and most client requests.
Prior to John Bailey Financial, Allison worked as a commercial teller at First State Bank Central Texas for three years.
Allison was born and raised in Spring, Texas where she attended Ashworth College and studied computer business applications, until relocating to the North Austin area in 2008. She is an active member of the Temple Founder Lions Club, where she serves on several committees in efforts to help better support the Temple community. She is also currently serving on the Temple Founder Lions Club Board and the Temple Santa Fe Credit Union Board, as Secretary.
